Raverbag – a gym bag for young and old

Dear quilter

You know the problem: You want to treat your son, daughter, granddaughter, godchild, niece nephew with a present. This should at best be personal and joyful, but at the same time not too costly. A quilt is a beautiful gift, but is very elaborate and needs to be handled with care …

How about a practical and quickly sewn gym bag, which ?

My son Tim (27) has been sewing bags, which he calls ‘Raverbags’, for himself and his friends for years. They take them to music festivals (hence the name) in the summer, where they store their provisions, sun and weather protection. These became so popular that he began to sell the patterns in my shop.

Meanwhile, the pattern was further developed and now you can now configure and order complete kits online. On the specially crafted webshop raverbag.com you can choose from the entire range of Cotton & Color’s cotton fabrics to find a suitable motif. You can immediately see how the final result will look like. I find the button ‘random fabric’ especially great, which can lead to unforeseen and inspiring results!

The kit will be sent to you with fabric, instructions and cord, completely free of charge, and is sewn in 1-2 hours, depending on your experience. It also makes a great project for students and beginners!
Other examples can be found below, as well as on Facebook and Instagram. If you want to share your creation with us, send us an email or use the hashtag #raverbag.

I’m curious how your Raverbag turns out!
